LUNCH 31/10/07

Roast pork salad from Bourke St Bakery, Surry Hills

After yesterdays salami based disappointment, the good doctor Marty Slammin' called Bourke St Bakery earlier today and found out todays salad: roast pork.
Our mouths salivating for the entire 8 to 10 minute walk there AND the entire 8 to 10 minute walk back, we opened our plastic containers back at the office and seriously did not say a word for a further 8 to 10 minutes.
This fantastic salad combined a generous amount of thin, juicy pork slices with crunchy green beans and slaw, beetroot, corn kernels, sweet nectarine and something pickled, smothered in a vinagerry dressing that seemed to yell "Hey, cafe on Crown St with a Lemon on the roof: FUCK YOU!".

8.5 out of 10
